A one-year-old will test whether the plate flies. This one stays on the tray while they find out.

Trunk up — for luck, the story goes. A suction snack plate in Eddie Elephant — molded dusty blue silicone in the elephant’s shape, with the ear forming a second, smaller well. A base that anchors to the tray while a one-year-old tests the laws of physics, 100% platinum food-grade silicone, buttery smooth and lightweight. It’s part of the range Mothers Always Right chose as Best Silicone Baby Tableware in 2026.

The suction, honestly. Press it onto a smooth, non-porous surface and it holds through a determined dig. It releases if a toddler lifts from the edge at the right angle — a seal that couldn't would be the bigger problem.

Material and care. Food-grade, platinum-cured silicone. LFGB food-grade certified — the German food-contact standard, stricter than FDA requirements. BPA, PVC, phthalate, and lead free. Dishwasher safe, top rack. Microwave safe.

Common questions

Does the suction actually hold?

Press it onto a flat, non-porous surface — a tray or smooth table — and it holds. A determined toddler can lift it from the edge at the right angle. A seal that couldn't release would be the bigger problem.

Dishwasher and microwave safe?

Both — top rack for the dishwasher.

What age is it for?

Recommended for 6 months and up.

Will it work on our high chair tray?

If the tray is smooth and non-porous, yes. Textured or slotted trays break the seal.

Why the shape. The ear forms a second, smaller well — enough to keep the dip off the crackers — and the suction base presses onto any smooth surface so the plate stays where the meal started. The silicone wipes clean in seconds and goes in the top rack.
