Squeeze a typical bath toy a few weeks in and black mold comes out with the water. These come apart so it can't take hold.

The Pastel bath toy set is a two-piece silicone set — each toy opens apart so the inside rinses clean and dries fully between baths. The fix for the problem every parent finds out about too late.

What it does. Most bath toys have a hole that draws water in and never fully dries — that's where the black mold comes from. These split into two pieces, so you can rinse the inside and let it dry after every bath — what you hand over at month six is what you hand over at month sixteen.

Material & safety. Food-grade silicone in a two-piece, open-for-cleaning design — each toy splits apart so the inside rinses clean and dries fully. BPA-free.

How to use it. Drop them in the bath. Rinse after the bath, pull the two halves apart, and let the inside air dry.

Who it's for. 12 months and up — bath time and water play. Not for newborns.

The design. The Pastel set carries a coordinated palette and rounded, grippable shapes for small wet hands.

Care. Rinse and air dry; dishwasher safe, top rack. No squeezing water out of a hidden cavity, and a quick pull-apart rinse when you want the inside clean.

The mold problem, plainly. The classic squeeze toy pulls water in through a hole and never fully dries. Weeks later it squirts black mold into the bath. The CDC has flagged it. These open into two pieces, so the inside rinses clean and dries between baths — nothing sits, nothing grows.

Gifting. The bath gift a second-time parent actually appreciates — because they've already thrown out the moldy set everyone gave the first time.
